The short version. We sell to people in the United States. Prices are in US dollars and sales tax is added at the payment page. Most things can come back within 30 days; a few things are marked final sale and cannot. If we get something wrong, tell us and we will put it right.
Maroon Door eStore is a trading name of Maroon Door E-Store LLC, registered in New Jersey, United States. Buying from this site forms an agreement between you and that company.
If anything here is unclear, write to maroondoorestore@gmail.com before you order, and a person will answer.
These terms apply to orders placed on this website. We may change them, and the version that governs your order is the one published on the day you place it. Changing them does not change an order you have already placed.
We ship within the United States only. Our checkout will not accept a delivery address anywhere else. If a PayPal account carries a non-US address, the order is stopped before any money is taken rather than charged and then refunded.
You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and the card or PayPal account you pay with has to be yours to use.
Putting something in your bag does not reserve it. An order exists once your payment goes through and we email you a confirmation with a reference number.
We can decline an order. The honest reasons that happen: the last one sold while you were checking out, the price or the description on the page was wrong, or the order looks fraudulent. If we decline one after you have paid, we refund it in full and tell you why.
Stock figures on the site are what we believe is on the shelf. Several items here are one of a kind, so for those the figure is the whole story — once it is gone it is gone.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax.
Sales tax is worked out from your delivery address at the payment page and added there, so the total in your bag is before tax. We collect it where we are registered to; New Jersey does not tax clothing and footwear, and those items are not taxed on orders going there.
Shipping is a flat $7.95, and free on orders over $50 after any discount.
Card payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal payments by PayPal. You type your card details on their page, not ours. We never see or store your card number.
A discount code is one use per person unless it says otherwise, comes off the subtotal, and cannot be exchanged for money.
If a price on the site is obviously wrong — a decimal point in the wrong place rather than a keen deal — we will not hold you to the order. We will tell you, and refund you in full if you have already paid.
We aim to post orders within two business days, and carriers usually take three to seven business days after that. Those are estimates and not promises; weather, holidays and the carrier are not within our control.
Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, or tracking says delivered and it is not with you, tell us within a reasonable time and we will sort it out. Full detail is on the shipping and returns page, which forms part of these terms.
You have 30 days from delivery to send most things back, unused and in their original packaging. The shipping and returns page explains how, and the returns form starts it.
Some things cannot come back, and the listing says so before you buy:
Final sale does not cover us sending you the wrong thing, or something arriving damaged or faulty. Those we put right whatever the item was.
Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it. You can delete your account from the account page at any time; we keep records of completed orders after that, because tax rules require it.
We can close an account that is being used to defraud us or to abuse other people. Doing that does not cancel an order you have already paid for.
Ordering puts you on our email list, which the bag says above the pay buttons. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and this page works too. Unsubscribing stops the marketing; it does not stop order confirmations, shipping notices or replies to something you asked.
The words, photographs and design here are ours or used with permission, and are not yours to republish. Brand names and logos belong to their owners and appear here to describe what we sell, not to suggest those companies endorse this shop.
We describe and photograph things as accurately as we can. Screens render color differently, and pre-owned items are described in words precisely because a photograph cannot show everything.
Write to us first — most things are fixed in one email. We would rather hear about a problem than have you sit with it.
Where the law allows us to limit what we owe you, our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing here takes away rights your state's consumer law gives you.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of New Jersey, and the courts there deal with any dispute arising from them.
If any part of this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.
These terms, the shipping and returns page and the privacy policy are the whole of the agreement between us about your order. If something on this page does not match what happens on the site, tell us — that would be a mistake we want to fix.
